Pre-production Materials

Making the previsualization and pre-production materials was something that I was not very enthused about. I had never done anything that thought out before, most of my pre-planning before was mostly just thinking of something that I thought was a good idea and then making a poorly made script and rolling with that. However, now that I've done this I see how helpful and how useful a tool that it is. My main job was making the budget however the group all looked over what everyone was in charge of making and gave each other notes. This is definitely something that I will do for future projects outside of requirements for class because of how it really fleshes out the idea and gives you a representation for how it will look and not just an idea in your head that may be hard to explain to someone else. Ideas for Role in Master Shot Scene

With my role being producer, I am going to help the Director find the location, actors, and props. I will need to fill out the forms to rent the equipment for the days we need them. I will dress the set, supervise what the actors are wearing, and keep track of the props. I will keep a close eye on the shots for continuities sake and make sure everything matches. If anything looks out of order or a shot is missing and it is overlooked I will bring it up to the director. I will try my best to keep everything in order and make the shoot go smoothly. I will also be responsible for data wrangling and I will also put the corresponding files into Premiere Pro and sync the audio and video and then transfer them to the editor. I will be keeping track of the paperwork needed, all the forms, storyboards, overheads, budget, scripts, shot lists, and things of that nature. I will scan all of the necessary paperwork and put them into a pdf format and upload them to the google drive. So most of my job...
